TradeStock – Privacy Policy
TradeStock respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal and business data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information provided during registration and use of the platform, including dealership details, contact information, listings, and usage data. Public vehicle sellers also provide their name, email, telephone number, vehicle location and details, expected price, finance or insurance-claim information, photographs and sharing declarations. We verify the seller’s email and use request records and a hashed network address to limit misuse.
2. How We Use Information
Data is used to:
- Operate and manage the TradeStock platform
- Verify dealer eligibility
- Process subscriptions and payments
- Communicate important account and platform updates
3. Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. TradeStock does not store or process card details directly.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data may be shared with service providers strictly for platform operation (e.g. hosting, payments). When you submit a public vehicle sale request and agree to dealer contact, your vehicle information and photos are made available to approved vehicle dealers in the relevant Irish or UK market. Your name, telephone number and email are visible to those dealers when they open your request so they can contact you directly. Dealer alerts, seller verification codes and request confirmations are sent using Resend. Seller contact details are not displayed on publicly browsable pages.
5. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure and safeguards.
6. Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as necessary to operate the platform or comply with legal obligations. Public seller requests are visible to dealers for up to 30 days. You can use your private management link to mark the vehicle sold or withdraw it earlier; this stops further dealer access through the request. Closing a request does not automatically erase operational records. Contact us if you want to request correction or deletion.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting info@tradestockmarketplace.com.
8. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of any updates.
